By downloading, accessing, or using the Murm application or website, you agree to be legally bound by these Terms of Use, our Privacy Policy, Emotional Health Data Privacy Policy, Cookie Policy, Community Guidelines, and Safety Tips.

If you do not agree, do not use Murm.

Together, you and Murm may be referred to as the “Parties”.

1. Introduction

Murm is a real-time, on-demand platform that enables Users to instantly discover and meet verified human Partners ("Murm Humans") for in-person emotional support sessions at curated public trusted venues.

Users select an emotional intent — calm, connect, be, lift, or clear — and are shown available Partners within a 3km radius on a live map. A session can begin within minutes.

Murm is not a dating app, matchmaking service, medical or clinical service, or escort service. All sessions are platonic emotional support interactions conducted in public spaces.

2. Eligibility and Account Responsibilities

Eligibility

  • Must be 18 years or older
  • Must be legally capable of entering a contract
  • Must not be prohibited by law from using such services
  • Must not have been previously removed for violations
  • Must have a valid Indian mobile number

Partner-Specific Eligibility

  • Must complete Murm KYC verification
  • Must provide accurate profile information
  • Must not have criminal records involving violence or fraud
  • Must comply with Partner Code of Conduct

User Responsibilities

  • Provide accurate account information
  • Use Murm only for emotional support sessions
  • Treat Partners respectfully
  • Follow safety rules and venue policies
  • Keep communication within the Murm platform

Prohibited Conduct

Users may not:

  • Arrange meetings outside Murm sessions
  • Request private locations such as homes or vehicles
  • Share personal contact details outside the platform
  • Record sessions without consent
  • Harass or intimidate Partners
  • Solicit financial transactions outside Murm
  • Use the platform while intoxicated
  • Create multiple accounts
  • Attempt to scrape or reverse engineer Murm

3. The Murm Session Model

Murm operates as a real-time instant service with no advance scheduling.

  1. Select your emotional intent
  2. View nearby available Partners
  3. Send an instant session request
  4. Partner accepts within 90 seconds
  5. Venue confirmation and travel begins
  6. Meet at the trusted venue
  7. Complete the session
  8. Close and rate the experience

5. In-App Safety Features

  • Emergency 112 shortcut
  • Share Meeting Spot with trusted contacts
  • Safety Agent support team

We strongly encourage sharing your session location with a trusted contact before every session.

6. Payments and Refunds

  • Session fees are shown before sending a request
  • Payment occurs when a Partner accepts a request
  • Cancel within 2 minutes → full refund
  • Cancel later → partial refund (30% fee)
  • No-show → session forfeited

7. Safety Obligation and Disclaimer

Murm conducts KYC verification of Partners, but verification does not guarantee behaviour or conduct.

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Murm shall not be liable for the conduct of Users or Partners.

8. Account Termination

You may delete your account at any time. Murm may suspend or ban accounts that violate these Terms or harm the platform community.

9. Dispute Resolution

Disputes should first be reported to support@justmurm.com. If unresolved, they will fall under the jurisdiction of courts in Bangalore, Karnataka, India.

10. Modifications to Terms

Murm may update these Terms from time to time. Continued use of the platform constitutes acceptance of updated Terms.

11. Entire Agreement

These Terms together with Murm's Privacy Policy, Emotional Health Data Privacy Policy, Cookie Policy, Community Guidelines, and Safety Tips constitute the complete agreement between you and Murm.
